Little Hydrangea Pots

I was digging through the buffet the other day and found these cute little pots sitting in there wasting away.  I stopped by Michael's on my way home from work the next day and looked and looked for something to put in them.  Hydrangeas are my favorite flower.  While I love hydrangeas, I hate fake flowers.   But I am turning over a new leaf (no pun intended) and deciding to give some fake hydrangeas a shot at sprucing up the dining room for Spring.
I added some foam, stuck the hydrangeas in place, and then hot glued some moss around the base.  I left  a little moss hanging over the sides in places so they didn't seem too...fake.  Not sure if that worked or not, but I do like the look of the moss coming over the sides.
Here they are in place and filling the dining room with Springiness...I guess.

What do you think?  I think I may like them.  They'll stay for a bit, until I come up with something better to go there.

Did you notice the picture of my children hanging above the buffet?  That happens to be my favorite thing in this whole house.  If the house were on fire, I'd grab that picture before I ran.

Speaking of the buffet, I think it needs a new look.  I see a little buffet painting in my near future...stay tuned for the results.
