Old Ratty Pottery Barn Table Redo

I have had this old table in my garage for several years trying to figure out what I wanted to do with it.  My brother bought it at the Pottery Barn outlet centuries ago and I ended up with it.  It originally was stained a very dark walnut color, and I painted it white.  Well, it's been so long the white was chipping off and it looked a mess.  I finally found the perfect spot for it and decided it was time for a makeover.  It's going to go right by the back door in the laundry room where we come and go.  I am going to use it to store our cell phone, ipod, and ipad chargers in the drawers so the cords won't always be out on the kitchen counter.  I plan on hanging something with hooks above it so the kids can put their backpacks there on the way in from school instead of dropping them directly in the kitchen floor for everyone to trip on.
So those are the before shots.  I sanded, primed, and spray-painted it a cream color.  Then I put an antique glaze on it.

Last, I sealed it and lined the drawers with a funky vintage looking wrapping paper.  here is the finished table:
Now I just need to paint the laundry room walls, decide what to hang above the table (with hooks), build the pantry shelving, build the base for the washer and dryer, add the wainscoting behind the washer and dryer, and build the shelves above the washer and dryer.  Wow.   This is going to take a while....

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of the table! Thanks for stopping by.
