Luau Party Cupcakes

We had a luau party for Lilly's class today for their end-of year celebration.  I signed up to bring cupcakes.  They turned out really cute and so I thought I'd share.  They were very easy to make too.

 We had two variations - the swimming bear and the tanning bear.  Here are close-ups of each:

 Here's how to make them:

• Completely ice with blue icing
• Add brown sugar to half for sand
• For tanning bear: cut a fruit roll-up into a rectangle to be the beach towel and put a touch of icing on the back the hold it in place on the "sand".  Put a touch of icing on a teddy graham and put your tanning bear in place.
• For swimming bear: fit a teddy graham into a gummy Lifesaver and stick in the "water."
• Complete with drink umbrellas.
